434 Enterprises Ltd. was established in 1995 by Martin Allen when Tavern Wholesale was closed down как найти работу в краснодаре . Martin started in the drinks trade almost 40 years ago when he worked for local wholesaler, Robert Cleary, based in Union Street just off the Cowley road in Oxford. He started out in the small company helping out on deliveries as a drivers mate. The company soon grew and moved out of Cowley to Kingston Bagpuize, near Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Once at Kingston Bagpuize, Martin had become a driver and soon worked his way up the chain of command and became distribution and transport manager. It was around this time that the company of Robert Cleary was sold to the Manchester based Liquid Assets Group, which in turn was bought by the Boddingtons Group. The Boddingtons Group was later taken over by Greenall Whitley who had their own wholesale drinks company called Tavern, who merged with Liquid Assets. At this point Martin was trained up even further and became Depot Manager.
Greenall Whitley, who had their own hotel chain, was later purchased by the De Vere Hotels Group. Unfortunately, wholesale drinks did not fit in to the De Vere Hotel portfolio and Tavern Wholesale was closed down, making all of its employees redundant.
Martin decided, with all the experience and training he had picked up over the many years, to carry on in Drinks Wholesale . So in 1995 he took over two of the old Tavern Wholesale warehouses, here at Kingston Bagpuize and formed 434 Enterprises Ltd.
25 years later, Russell Allen, Martin’s son, has taken over operations and continues to operate in the same tradition.
